Overview

Crestron Fusion® software enables organizations to monitor and manage AV equipment, BMS (building management systems), room scheduling, lighting, shades, climate, and energy consumption from a single platform.

You can deploy Fusion RV® (RoomView) software, Fusion EM® (Energy Management) software or both, based on organizational needs.

Fusion RV enables facility and IT managers to centrally monitor, manage, and schedule AV presentation, video conferencing, and capture resources. The software can track device and room usage to schedule routine maintenance, provide real-time remote technical support, and receive instant alert notifications. Robust reporting features provide data to make more effective purchasing and scheduling decisions.
Fusion EM manages and monitors renewable and sustainable energy sources in real-time and displays historical usage data for day, week, month, or year. The software also provides environmental control, including lighting, shades, and climate to intelligently integrate with room scheduling and occupancy levels for greater energy savings. Fusion EM is able to track the building's carbon footprint while enabling facility managers to easily analyze energy consumption.

General Usage and Navigation

NOTE: When accessing Crestron Fusion for the first time, a User Profile page is displayed that prompts you to enter your information. This information is extremely important and should be entered before you do anything else. You will continue to be prompted by the Profile dialog until an email address is saved with the profile.

The screen layout is context-sensitive; the active focus and position in the left-hand Navigation Tree determines the corresponding tabs displayed in right-hand window pane.

For example, selecting a room in Navigation Tree while in the RoomView Monitoring client displays the My RoomView, Fusion Insite, Assets, Rooms, Schedule, WebCam, e‑Control, Instant Messaging, and Capture tabs. Viewing the same room while in the Energy Management client displays the Room Summary, Automation, Lights, and Energy Usage tabs.

Room Tree Controls

The Room Tree appears in the left-hand window pane and displays the hierarchical structure of your enterprise visually using a tree topology.

Collapsible Tables

The My RoomView, Assets, and Rooms tabs all have collapsible tables. In the upper right hand corner of each table, a Collapse/Extend icon lets you open or close tables as desired.

At the bottom of the My RoomView, Assets, and Rooms tabs, a Page field at the bottom of the tab allows you to select the page you wish to view (if there is more than one) and a drop down allows you to determine the number of records listed in each field by selecting 10, 25, or 50 records:

Header Tab

At the top of the interface is the Header Tab. The Header Tab incorporates navigation links to other areas of the application including RV Monitoring, Energy Management, Reports & Analytics, Configuration, Setup, and Help.

Refresh Grid (Table)

At the bottom left of the My RoomView, Assets, and Rooms tabs, the Refresh icon allows you to easily refresh the contents of the adjacent table.
